A rigid arm runs from each ankle cuff to just under the heel. While the wearer stays up on tiptoe nothing touches the heel; lowering it brings the heel onto the spike, so standing tall becomes the easier choice. It is a posture and discipline tool for short periods.
Who should not use them?
